This benchtop planer boasts a powerful 2 horsepower, single phase, 15 amp, 115 volt motor. It also has a 2-speed gear box for different feed rates and an authentic Oliver HCX helical shearing cutterhead with a 13" capacity. The 4-post design ensures the cutterhead is aligned to the table, and 4 depth stops allow for easy set up from 3/4" to 5/32". The front material removal gauge allows for quicker set up, while the blower assists in chip ejecting during operation. The heavy-duty power switch includes safety features like overload protection and lock-out, plus the built-in carriage lock offers stability during operation. Steel top and built-in carry handles make it easily portable, and fold-up extension wings allow for easy storage.
