Thames & Kosmos Sidekick Robotic Kit

Description

This kit lets students build a four-wheeled rover or two-wheeled robot Sidekick and program its movements, sounds and facial expressions directly on a built-in keypad or through the free Sidekick app (Android or iOS). Then, they can drive it around using a remote control or a smart device as a gyroscope. Coding new programs is easy on the visual interface or simulator, both in the app. The Sidekick can play several styles of music and even dance along. The microcontroller has separate inputs to control the robot's LED lights, speaker, left and right motors, battery and infrared sensor for location tracking.
