Shop Fox Quick Release Heavy-Duty Wood Vise

Description

Wood vise with polished guide rods is made from heavy cast iron for durability and years of use. Pre-drilled jaw holes allow you to make and attach custom non-marring jaw faces to protect workpiece surfaces.

The quick release lever is designed to fit on workbenches 2-1/4" and thicker, but can be adapted to workbenches down to 1-1/2" thick by using a shim. Moving the quick release lever towards the vise handle disengages the screw so the sliding jaw can be freely moved by pushing or pulling it, allowing for fast and efficient material engagement.

It also features sliding dogs for use with bench dogs. A useful feature when securing long workpieces to the bench, they conveniently retract out of the way when not in use by simply loosening the finger bolt.
