

Infrared Possibilities Explored
Midwest Students gain hands-on experiences in solar power technology used by homeowners, industry and the military (including communications, electronics & aerospace applications). The program highlights basic solar energy power concepts and current uses.
Applications, using the elements listed below, include motors, pulsing circuits, simulated highway safety signals and various electronic components. Cells can be operated using sunlight or artificial light.
For grades 6-12.
Includes instrumentation panel, industrial-grade solar cell, light assembly & meter, solar collector module, 18 connection leads, 2 alligator clips, 2 light assembly extenders, switch module & curriculum.
