Equipped with the robust Asteroid Tool Head and a hefty 1.2mm nozzle, this machine also features a Y-axis over twice the size for optimal layer continuity. Choose the 2.4mm nozzle for even greater capacity, handling large prints with ease. Create long, rugged prototypes and print-on-demand parts without the usual build volume constraints, eliminating the need to split your projects into multiple parts.

• The Asteroid 285 Tool Head features dual heater cartridges, delivering high-volumetric material flow through a 1.2mm GammaMaster™ nozzle.
• Robust Y-axis rails feature drylin® W coating, a self-lubricating and maintenance-free material, for a clean environment with less friction to lower potential for artifacts in prints.
• Machined aluminum magnetic bed comes with a Laminated PEI blue spring steel top sheet, a durable and flexible alternative to glass beds. Equipped with neodymium magnets, it securely holds the print sheet while allowing for easy removal.
• Large build volume of 282 x 582 x 285mm means you don't have to separate larger prints which saves time on file preparation and post processing.
• Feel confident throughout extended prints with the improved Filament Runout and Stripping Sensor. The filament is constantly monitored to prevent interruptions from various filament mishaps.
