Lectrify Battery + LED Pack

Description

Students explore electricity by making their own paper clip circuits. In this activity, students gain familiarity with conductivity, resistance, the flow of electricity and how to make simple circuits!

In this lesson, students learn the basics of a circuit. They start with basic components - battery holders with batteries and on/off switch and LEDs. make one themselves using a battery and an LED. Concepts covered in this lesson include conductivity, insulation, polarity and resistance.

The lesson plan includes a hands-on activity as well as open-ended questions to help facilitate discussion and discovery. A student worksheet is included for reflection.
