Select basswood strips cut to very close tolerances (+/- .002" to .005"). Softwood has wonderful carving characteristics, yet is strong enough to hold the shape of intricate designs. Use for architectural or engineering models. Easy-to-cut and shape with hand or machine tools. Glues well and finishes easily with latex paint or polyurethane.

I really preferred that these were still wrapped in the 12 pk and bundled that way. For what we used these for, we need to cut them. When they were packaged the other way it was very easy to cut and a lot more easier to store. Otherwise, love the product.
