Description

This kit provides a Bloxels board and blocks set, workbook, Storycards deck, Characters and Art deck, Game Layout Deck, and a 1-year subscription to the Bloxels app and EDU Hub.

Using the Bloxels app, students can create stories by instantly turning their physical creations into a digital video game. In the Class Library, they can share their creations privately with their friends. On the EDU Hub, you can view the group's work, download activities, and get first-in-line support for any question they might have.

• The workbook is a 48-page guide for turning an idea into a game. It offers brainstorming strategies, storyboards, and sketch grids.
• The Storycards include Character, Item, and Setting cards. Pull one of each type and combine them to generate unique, fun, or just plain goofy ideas for stories in Bloxels. Each of these 45 illustrated cards include an illustration to inspire stories for games.
• The Characters and Art Deck features 60 cards with characters and artwork with ready-to-use ideas. In the app, students can customize the creations and add them to their game. Ideal for top-down and platformer games.
• The Game Layout Deck allows students to brainstorm, build, and capture their own games. Each of the 60 cards features a challenging 13x13 platformer or top-down layout to try on both sides.
