Roamer is an educational robot that blends the traditional value of learning facts with a focus on learning through understanding. It combines modern robotics technology with the science of learning. It helps students create kinesthetic, visual and spatial mental models of difficult ideas. Roamer creates an active learning environment which helps students to acquire and engage factual knowledge in practical and authentic situations.

For the Foundation Stage. This is the simplest of the standard Roamers. It uses counting to determine the number of moves to make. It also has four user keys that the teacher can define to tailor it to any activity.
