Toggle type pullers incorporate an automatic grip tightening feature. They provide the means and power to pull gears, flywheels, pulleys and other parts where it is necessary to apply the arms between spokes and where no other puller can be applied. Pullers adjust and reverse using 3 parts: link with locking pin; link with 2 grooved pins and the jaw. Pullers have fewer parts, including pins which are pressed into the link. Forcing screws are forged from alloy steel and heat-treated.
