Midwest Hands-on training for introductory robotics and robotic applications. Base panel includes 8 fixed workstations for computer controlled robot, plus mounting positions for robotic arm and 4 worktables. 2 flat worktables are used to perform material and parts handling plus simulated spot welding and caulking applications. The other 2 worktables include a parts gravity feeding station, a pneumatic rotary parts turntable and a pneumatic lifting and receiving station. Robotic arm has 5 axes and is computer-controlled. Also has a gripper with removable fingers and is able to lift up to 2 lbs.
Trainer for grades 6-12.
Requirements: PC w/DOS BASIC, plus outside air source of 60 PSI.
Includes base assembly, robotic arm, worktables, accessory kit, curriculum.
