Larger Test Area & Computer Option

AMT   Test the strength of classroom-constructed bridges with this high-tech analyzer that's designed to meet the new International Bridge Building Committee Standards.

Developed by an Industrial Technology teacher, its ample work area and 3/8" telescoping rod allow larger structures, up to 6"D x 12"W x 18"H, to be tested using either road bed or top load methods. The analyzer's optional Computer Interface Package will graph and record student's test results.

• Alpha-numeric LCD readout keeps operator informed of test status by displaying force up to 1,000 lbs., deflection up to 1.5" & senses failure of model locking onto ultimate strength
• Fully-adjustable supports w/built-in scale allow fast, accurate placement of supports
• Mode rocker switch allows selection of: 
  • continuous mode for automatic cycle 
  • incremental mode for preselected, push-button loads from 10-100 lbs. 
  • unit mode chooses between standard or metric measurements
• Maximum force allows selection of forces from 5 to 1,000 lbs.
• Safety of totally-enclosed work area w/high-impact polycarbonate shielding; interlock won't allow testing unless shield is fully closed
